The annual Phoenix Comicon this year is May 26th-29th.  I will be an attendee this time unless something comes up!  I am part of the Tiny Army group and I may help out if they need more people.  (there is a meeting tomorrow so I’ll know soon).  I am set if I ever do sell stuff at an artist alley.   I made a whole bunch of cute zombie plushies for my baby zombie site.  I will have to post them pretty soon, so you all can see.  I will also be moving this weekend so it may not happen for a few more weeks.  Anyway, I will also be able to go to E3 this year.  It will be my first and maybe only time going. It will be exciting!!

I was able to attend some life drawing a few weeks ago, so I have posted them in the Still and Life Drawing section if you wish to view them.  I wish I could draw some male models… I need more variety.  It’s been a while since I went to a life drawing session.  I also started drawing short comics of my daughter… She is the such a character and the main inspiration of a lot of my work lately.  The things she says and does is priceless.  I have wanted to document them for some time and what better way to use my drawing skills and practice comic making by presenting them in comic form.  I’ll probably post them on my chibimonkies blog or facebook.

It’s the beginning of 2011, the year of the rabbit.  This month is already halfway through!  Earlier, I was at the Taiyou con the 7th through the 9th.  It was pretty nice, I had a booth next to the bar (easy access to food) and the artist alley was really spread out.  It wasn’t hot like Saboten con.  Anyway, right now I’m focusing on putting work on this site.  I need more life drawing.  And some more finished artwork.  I also am trying to get stuff for zombie babies, my other project I have in mind.  Other than that… applying for jobs to impress employers with this site.  If you have any suggestions about what I should put on here, please add comments.

I’ve needed to organize my website for a while…  I thought I could just add any kind of gallery on here… but I found it still to be unorganized… and I decided I need to focus on a style of art…  I do like to change my look and copy other styles, but it’s just confusing me of what I want to focus on…  so from now on, I’m just going to be posting what I want to do.  That is comics, illustrations and character designs.  The style is of the cartoon look and anime, because I can’t seem to get out of it.
